summertime please

I want to learn to swim faster. I kinda learned how to swim from being in my parents pool at a young age. taking it one step deeper into the shallow end. I had a dog named rebel I would put her in and she would doggy paddle looking back I think I learned how to doggy paddle first. then I went to long underwater strokes, I forgot what its called the type of stroke. When I was a teenager I was so fast under water I would just stay there while my best friend Evan and his brother Mark would swim above using the arm over arm way, which is generally faster. but I was fast and never learned how to swim other ways, then in college old friend Linda smoked me in a race. I knew I was using a slower technique, but its also my leg work. I do the frog, when the kicks should be alternating and stuff. Anyways my joints need a healing for later in life and swimming has got to be one of the best things for your body, Its low impact and has a flow that feels good on the muscles being light and all. I want to learn proper techniques and if Im lucky after the doctors with some herbs, vitamins and sunlight. I can regenerate my bones, muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and whatever else is in my body.
